INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYEES OF
CENTURION SECURITY SERVICES

You may need Adobe Reader to view these files.

In July, 2007 we filed a complaint on behalf of security guards against Centurion Security Services and Kevin Mobley.  This case seeks overtime compensation under the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act.

How do I get involved?

  • You must have been employed as a security guard for Centurion Security Services within the past three years, and

  • You must have worked over forty hours in a work week but were not paid one and one-half times your regular rate of pay for hours worked over forty.

To get involved in the lawsuit, you must complete a Consent Form and return it to us immediately for filing with the Court. If you do not return this Consent Form, we cannot include you in the lawsuit.

How long do I have to join the suit?

You should join the lawsuit immediately if you are eligible.

There is a statute of limitations in this case that only allows you to recover pay for minimum wage and overtime hours worked within 2 years of signing up for the lawsuit. If we can prove the company willfully violated the law, the statute of limitations may be extended to 3 years.

Additionally, we are actively working to resolve this case either through a judgment or through negotiation.  If you delay, the case may be resolved before your claims can be added.

Therefore, it is important that you return your Consent Form immediately to avoid losing overtime pay because of the statute of limitations.

How can I get more information?

If you believe you are eligible to join this lawsuit or have any questions about this case, please contact my law office at (800) 313-4020.  If you believe you have a case similar to this one, please complete an overtime claim submission form for review.
